More on the Olympic women's field
It took me a while, but I finally found the women's Olympic Trampoline preview on AcrobaticSports.com. (There was something screwy going on with links at AcrobaticSports.) The preview is the same format as the men's preview I mentioned a couple of days ago.
Again, since this is a US based blog, here is the Outlook for US woman Erin Blanchard:
Blanchard has a very good chance to make it to the top 8 finalists. She might be a little of a long shot, but the possibility of a medal should not be totally excluded. Here is the starting order (by country) for the preliminary round:
1. Georgia (Luba Golovina)Don't forget to share your thoughts (or pics or vids) about your country's athletes in the 2008 Olympic Trampoline discussion at the Tramp and Tumble Network.
2. Great Britain (Claire Wright)
3. Ukraine (Elena Movchan)
4. Belarus (Tatiana Petrenia)
5. China (He Wenna or Huang Shanshan)
6. Russia (Natalia Chernova or Irina Karavaeva)
7. Canada (Karen Cockburn or Rosannagh MacLennan)
8. United States (Erin Blanchard)
9. China (Huang Shanshan or He Wenna)
10. Russia (Irina Karavaeva or Natalia Chernova)
11. Japan (Haruka Hirota)
12. Germany (Anna Dogonadze)
13. Canada (Rosannagh MacLennan or Karen Cockburn)
14. Czech Republic (Lenka Honzakova)
15. Uzbekistan (Ekaterina Khilko)
16. Portugal (Ana Rente)
