More on the Olympic men's field
I'm sitting here watching the Women's team final (go U.S.A!!!) and surfing, and have come across a bit more info on the Men's Olympic Trampoline competition. Acrobatic Sports has a detailed preview of the Men's competition, including the official starting order for the preliminary round (which I've included below for easy reference) and some in-depth analysis for each of the competitors.
Since this is a U.S. based blog, here is their "outlook" for American Chris Estrada:
Estrada already accomplished the major part of his objective by qualifying for the Olympic Games. The Pan American Games Champion has good chances to capture one of the spots for the final in Beijing, but he will have to perform at his top level to do so. Although not totally excluded, winning a medal would be a significant upset.I'm not really all that familiar with the athlete's from the other countries, so I appreciated the chance to read about their past achievements and their chances at these games.
As promised, here is the starting order (by country):
1. United States (Chris Estrada)You can see the Women's starting order in this .pdf file.
